Give your eating habits a welcome change and show carbs some love. Know why they’re good for you and how to enjoy them right away. Always have your fill. Complex carbohydrates found on grains, beans, veggies, and fruits, are all high in fiber!.

Filling on these foods is actually an effective method of losing weight, as fiber-rich foods cleanse the body, make you feel full, and quiet your cravings.

Try this: eat at least three cups of raw vegetables or salad before you proceed to your main entrée. You’ll immediately feel full and be able to enjoy a smaller serving of the main course!.

Also, learn when to hold the salt. As tasty as this makes your food, you don’t have to go all-out with it. You can actually have more rice as long as you regulate your sodium intake. Like sugar, sodium is an extremely powerful appetite stimulant.

Limiting your sodium intake will make you appreciate the natural taste of food. And as a result, you’ll enjoy and be satisfied with consuming only moderate portions. So, enjoy your food’s natural flavor and do away with the bloat-causing salt.

Some people even believe that you can maintain your healthy weight with rice even as you age. Look for cookbooks that guide you with the kind of meals to prepare.

When you can go organic, then do so. Go for gold by making sure that the rice you eat is brown and organic. Research has shown that organic foods contain higher levels of nutrients, vitamin C, and antioxidants.

These things help a lot to improve your immunity. And, brown rice has more fiber, aiding your digestive system and filling you up more quickly.

As you enjoy your rice, don’t forget to work those muscles. First and foremost, exercise releases endorphins. These are feel-good chemicals responsible for happy emotions. Regular exercise also promotes relaxation, stress reduction, avoids depression and even healthy sleep patterns. Not to mention, it makes you firm and trim.

The moment you start on a healthy exercise regimen with the goal of staying fit, young-looking and fabulous, you also start feeling good about yourself.

There’s a sense of pride because you know you’re into the regimen for self-improvement. The feeling all the more grows once you see the amazing results.

It’s time to get better all over. Keep in mind that every part of your body is interrelated. If a part of your body aches, your whole body will also feel the pain.


Similarly, when you get enough exercise and your body is working the way it should, you’ll definitely see and feel the full benefits. That should be reason enough to start the treadmill.

Plus, physical activity & burning calories does not have to be strenuous to provide health benefits. Start slowly and gradually build up to the desired duration and intensity of exercise.
