Best Tips on on getting beautiful eyes

Natural Beauty....like the skin and hair, the eyes tell a great deal about the state of your health, your habits and lifestyle. Illness, nutritional deficiencies, lack of sleep, anxiety and stress can all be reflected by eyes that are dull, tired and strained.

Eye care has increased in importance and relevance in modem times. Progress has certainly taken its toll. Never before have we put the eyes to as much strain as we do now, has focusing on television and computer screened, on intense reading or pouring over figures.

Natural Beauty....during the ancient times, the eyes were used in occupations that actually exercised them and kept them healthy. The farmer, hunter, fisherman, used a variety of natural eye movements, focusing on distant-objects.

We hardly exercise the muscles of the eyes. And, this kind of eye strain begins at an early age. With immobility, the eye muscles are tired and tense. With time, they get distorted and cramped. Unless we consciously exercise them and help them to relax, they cannot perform well, stay healthy, or look beautiful.

Take a few minutes off from close eye-work to exercise your eyes.

• Cup your palms over closed eyes, without touching them. Look into the blackness. This can be very restful. Sit in a relaxed position. Move your eyes in a wide circular motion, first in one direction and then the other. Move the eyes to the right and left and then up and down.

Natural Beauty Self Image & appearance • Hold your forefinger in front of your face. Keep looking at it and move your finger further away from you.

Then look past the finger as far as you can see and then back to your finger. Slowly bring your finger back. Repeat this 3 or 4 times.

• Whenever you are out of doors, consciously look at the trees and plants.

The green colour is soothing to the eyes. No wonder, nature has been so generous with green.

“Best Eye Care Tips for You ”

Natural Beauty....eyes may be tough but they need to be cared for, particularly from exposure to dirt, dust, pollution and smoky atmosphere.

Tips for healthy eyes

• Get into the habit of starting the day by splashing your open eyes with cold water, so that they are thoroughly cleaned and stimulated.

• Avoid using too much of eye drops, rather it is better to squeeze fresh cucumber juice into your eyes.

• Drink 6-8 glasses of water daily.

• Your sleep pattern should be composed of at least 7 hrs.

• Make sure to remove all traces of eye make up before going to bed for it might cause infection in the roots of eyelashes.

• Do rest your eyes at least every 30 minutes when you are reading, sewing, using a computer or the likes, by looking up and focussing at distant objects.

• Make sure that your diet contains good sources of Vitamin A, such as cereals, celery, oily fish, egg yolk and liver. If your eyes are itchy, watery or bloodshot you could be lacking in Vitamin B2 which can be found in brewer's yeast, liver and whole grain cereals.

• Do make sure that your computer and television screens are sharply focused.

• Do not rub or stretch the skin under the eyes-it is very delicate and is easily damaged.

• Don't read in poor light; the light should come from behind or above rather than from the front.

• Don't look directly at the sun, as you might be tempted to do during an eclipse; even the darkened sun can cause severe and permanent damage. Similarly, avoid staring at any bright or glaring lights.

• Don't read for more than two hours at a stretch. Give a rest in between to your eyes for 10 min by putting the palms of your hands over them and shutting out the light.

• Do wear sunglasses when in bright sunlight. Castor oil for beautiful eyebrows and eyelashesApplying pure castor oil to your eyebrows and lashes, particularly those who have scanty growth will make them grow thick and long.

“Eyebrow Plucking”

Eyebrow Plucking

Natural Beauty....plucking is the best way to shape your eyebrows, although some women prefer waxing. But be warned: this is best done by a professional unless you want to wax off half an eyebrow! Some salons also offer 'threading' specialists.

To pluck eyebrows, first apply an astringent such as witch hazel to anaesthetise the brow area. Brush your eyebrows into place, then pluck stray hairs underneath the eyebrow arch and anything else outside the natural brow line. Rub some soothing cream onto the area afterwards.

Caution while Plucking Eyebrows

Natural Beauty....eyebrow hair is the slowest growing hair on the human body so even though they have not yet grown back they should do in time. In the meantime there are a few things you could try to make them look more even. You could fill in the thinner/lighter eyebrow with an eyebrow pencil. Be sure to choose a colour that most matches your hair, and then blend in to make it look as natural as possible.

Another option would be to pluck or wax the one that is thicker. If you decide to do this it would be advisable to have a beautician do it for you.

Aftermanth of Plucking Eyebrows

If one eyebrow is growing back at a faster rate than the other, or you notice no regrowth at all after a couple of months, there is a possibility you may have damaged the hair follicles so they can't produce new hairs. If you think this is the case it's worth visiting your doctor (GP) for advice.

Best Eyebrow Shaping

There are many different ways in which one can shape his or her eyebrows. The general points are as follows:

• Men's eyebrows should be slightly thick and heavier in shape and the centre should be absolutely clean

• Women eyebrows should be of medium thickness and the shape must be very well defined.

• Normally eyebrow are shaped at a 45 degree angle. Eyebrow Shaping

Natural Beauty....eyebrow Shaping can be done in following varied styles:

1. Round : Round eyebrows look very good on the faces that have big eyes and a large forehead. The eyebrows are shaped along the frontal bone and follow the shape of the eye. Since it is natural flow of the eyebrow it gives an innocent look to the face.

2. Angular : Angular eyebrows portray elegant and stern looks. A chubby, round face can be made more interesting by making angular eyebrows.

3. Sweeping : This shape generally suits all faces and gives a scope for different types of eye make-up. A sweeping shape in eyebrows helps to create an illusion of large and open eyes, balance a wide mouth and large nose and provide width to a long and triangular face.
