Natural Beauty & Self Image....everyone knows that exercise can improve a person’s health. Do people realize that it can also help an individual’s appearance?

When people see an advertisement, the viewer is made to believe that if the individual in the ad can do it, anyone can achieve the same results in a period of time. Unfortunately, this is not always true.

This is because the biological genetics of a human being are inherited from their parents: so if the family is made up chubby people, there is a chance the same will be true of that person.

Some people believe that beauty is limited to what is seen on the outside. This can be achieved if the person decides to join an exercise program. Working the muscles can cause the person to lose or gain weight, tone the muscles, and flatten the abs.

Exercise builds up a person’s endurance and resistance against disease. This will keep the individual healthy, strong, and immune to disease.

A smile can change a bad day into a good one. Exercise can make this happen since males and females have endorphins which are hormones produced by the body and are usually activated by a good workout in the gym.

Appearance can also be improved by getting the proper amount of rest. Doctors say that 8 hours of sleep is ideal but some people have proven that 5 to 6 hours can sufficient.

Many gyms are not only equipped with exercise equipment. These facilities may also have spas, saunas and massage parlors that when combined with exercise can release the tension in the body making the person feel rested.

Exercise is just one of the many things that can help improve the appearance of a person. Those who have vices such as smoking or drinking should stop since they impede the progress that one is trying so hard to achieve by working out in a gym.

The primary motivation for people to exercise is to attain a good body. Little do they know that by doing his, they are not only improving their physical appearance but also their physical well being and their mind.

A person's body shape is already a given, since it is determined by a person's muscle, body fat and skeleton. However, a person's physical appearance can be improved with proper exercise. To do this, a person must lose all unnecessary body fat and gain muscle mass.

Gardening and other outdoor activities can enhance your body metabolism. Outdoor projects help you to be active and enjoy your family. You may do gardening with your family to keep you away from being isolated in the living room watching television.

Working in the garden can be compared to exercising. This will keep you from gaining unwanted weight and will give you a physically active body. Many experts agree that outdoor activities like gardening are a way to keep you busy and active. A regular physical activity in the work area will help you achieve a desired body shape. Here are ways gardening can help you look and feel good.

1. You may work on your wind chimes; there are many designs to choose from. Give your garden a patio or deck design that will complement the whole environment on a windy day. A pleasant environment will make you happy and look good.

5. The fruits and vegetables you reap from your garden are essential in keeping you healthy. Gardening will allow you to eat healthy foods and they promote a healthy lifestyle.

Gardening is a leisure activity that will allow you to avoid unhealthy lifestyles like smoking, drinking alcohol, etc. Smoking and alcohol have been proven to make the skin dry and can cause diseases. Instead of wasting your time with these unhealthy habits, you can occupy your time by gardening.

Gardening is the best way for you to be actively working. You may not need to enroll in a weight loss program where you would be spending hundreds of dollars for the program. You can maintain your beautiful body figure as you work enjoyably in your garden.
