Start Walking Now To Be Healthier And Feel Great!

In this new generation, people are extremely focused on how they are going to earn money and live comfortably in their lives. So, many of us became busy in finding ways to make money.

The problem is we forgot to do one of the most essential things in our lives – to exercise.

Exercise is a very important step to maintaining a healthy mind and body. With proper exercise, many diseases can be prevented, like obesity, high blood pressure, diabetes, heart problems and even strokes.

Moreover, exercise is a good way in order to offset the effects of aging. By exercising our body, muscles are being developed which helps in promoting a younger looking body.

So, if you want to look younger, set at least 30 minutes of your time per day aside to be active in some way. Even just taking a short walk is enough to do a lot of good.

However, many people really couldn’t find that thirty minutes per day. Some people say that it is too long.

This is especially true for those professionals who are working for most of the time. Moreover, they are the ones who have a sedentary lifestyle – after all, most of their time is spent sitting, which is really not good.

So, what can be done to accommodate exercise in our daily lifestyle? Are there remedies? Fortunately there are. Remember that walking is a form of exercise.

In fact, it is an excellent cardio vascular exercise. If we will just walk longer and farther we can be healthy and younger looking.

For people with sedentary lifestyle, they typically walk for about 3000 steps per day. So, in order to be healthy, it is important to increase that number of steps.

Doubling it is good, but reaching beyond 10000 steps is preferred since that amount can bring great impact into your health.

So, start your day with a walk. Don’t worry if you can’t finish the 10000 steps immediately since the goal is to reach that amount per day and not in a few minutes. So, when you park your car, try to park it farther than your usual spot.

If you are commuting, try to get off a block or two from your usual stop. In addition to that, you can avoid using your phone when talking to an office colleague on the same floor with you. You can also walk as you talk on the phone or as you watch commercials.

You can also use the stairs when climbing up and down your workplace. There are a lot more chances to walk on a typical day. Remember that by the end of the day, you should have walk for at least 7000 to 10000 steps.

Of course it is impossible to count manually the number of steps that you have made. So, try to use a pedometer to help you. It is cheap and easy to use.

Just clip it in your belt or in your waist pocket and it will automatically count your steps. There are many types of pedometer.

There are pedometers that can measure the amount of calories you have burned, the distance you have covered and more. However, it is best to choose the one that is simple and reliable.
