The most important thing to remember when dealing with constipation is that a lifestyle change is in order. For a well functioning, healthy body, sufficient water and fiber are necessary.

Even after your initial constipation has been cured it is very important to continue with your healthy changes. Water and a high fiber diet have been proven to be very helpful in preventing heart disease, helping to maintain a healthy weight, as well as preventing other diseases.
